Maria ROSA ZANGARa
The school was founded in 1970 by the Order of the Sisters of Mercy in memory of Maria Rosa Zangara, a steadfast and resilient woman who dedicated her whole life to Merciful action. Throughout her life she devolved much of her time and attention to the children’s right to instruction, acknowledging the importance of knowledge and culture as the most useful tool in offering an educational quality up to date with the times.
The educational offer of the Maria Rosa Zangara School is that of placing the at the center of the scholastic learning plan, thus aiming to promote the unitary and harmonic integral formation of each pupil.
The three-year plan of the Formative offer (PTOF) outlines all the didactic activities and the projects connected with Nursery School, Kindergarten and Primary School.

A partire dall’a.s. 2024-2025, la Scuola Maria Rosa Zangara è gestita dalla CEFA.
L’eredità spirituale ed educativa costruita dalle Figlie della Misericordia e della Croce in questi anni è una base solida che la CEFA intende valorizzare.
Stefano Rozera, che per anni ha svolto il ruolo di insegnate e coordinatore delle attività didattiche delle Scuole CEFA, è il Direttore della Scuola Maria Rosa Zangara.

BILINGUALISM
From the school year 2024/25 the Ist grade class starts the Bilingualism project. The programming of the activities is designed so that English is used in all learning activities. The study method starts from the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and is enhanced by the use of educational robotics and STEAM.
COACHING
Coaching is a new project promoted to encourage collaboration between family and school and help parents better understand their children's needs and support their children's success at school.
EDUCATIONAL ROBOTICS
The projects supply educational and didactic answers for the new challenges that pupils will need to face in a global society. The laboratorial lessons are in English and enrich the study and practice of the second language.
PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT IN THE CLASS GROUP

The Rosa Maria Zangara is in the XIII Municipality near the Metro Battistini stop. Founded in 1970 with one Kindergarten section, enriched in 1972 by the Primary School, the Maria Rosa Zangara School is in Via Enrico De Ossò 73/75, where it benefits of a beautiful pinewood park and of wide classrooms full of sunlight.
The building, born as a residential house around the 80s of the twentieth Century, hosts the Maria Rosa Zangara since 1990 and has a pine forest in the area in front of the school where pupils enjoy their free time between lessons and a courtyard dedicated to the Nursery School toddlers and to the children of the kindergarten.
The building’s dimensions allow ample space for all the didactic activities In the school several classrooms have been structured for the ICT, Artistic and Music Laboratories. Moreover, the building has various spaces: A Library, Canteen, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a polyfunctional gym an Aula Magna with 150 seats and the Chapel of the Resurrection
